The Power of One

In a regular teleconference today, Dr. and Master Zhi Gang Sha led us in a group healing using Soul Language. It was extraordinarily powerful for the 150 or so of us on the line and the 150 other souls Master Sha asked us to call in for healing. Why was this group practice with Master Sha so powerful? Of course, Master Sha explained the essence very well when he taught us that we were 150 light bulbs rather than one. In addition, Master Sha’s frequency, vibration, power and service were blessing and amplifying all of us. In fact, our little healing circle radiated far, far beyond the approximately 300 souls who were “directly” involved.

Allow me, if I may, to share some additional personal insights on why our group service with Master Sha was so powerful.

When souls are united in intention, action and service, their frequency and vibration reinforce each other. It is analogous to the concept and phenomenon of “sympathetic vibration” or “sympathetic resonance” in the physical world. At its simplest, it is like two waves being in phase, which means they are in sync. They harmonize and reinforce each other, as opposed to two waves that are not in phase canceling each other out.

It doesn’t matter what our voices sounded like. It doesn’t matter what our Soul Language sounded like. Because we were united in intention, action and service, we were totally in sync. In fact, we were joined as One. This One was about nine times greater than the sum of its 150 parts—not even counting Master Sha’s participation. This is the Power of One. With Master Sha’s participation, we were all getting an even much bigger boost for our service. Under Master Sha’s leadership, Heaven responded. Wan ling (all souls) responded.

This practice was powerful because it was Fu Wu Xiu Lian—Service Xiu Lian, including Fu Wu Zhi Liao (Service Healing), Fu Wu Fan Lao Huan Tong (Service Rejuvenation), Fu Wu Chang Shou (Service Prolonging of Life), Fu Wu Yuan Man (Service Enlightenment) and Fu Wu Zhuan Hua (Service Transformation of every aspect of life). This practice was extraordinarily powerful because it was a Tao Oneness Practice, including Oneness Healing, Oneness Rejuvenation, Oneness Prolonging of Life, Oneness Enlightenment and Oneness Transformation of all life.

Do your own reading as to how much more powerful than our individual practice it was for each of us who were fortunate to participate.

Master Sha took a lot of time from his extremely busy schedule and, in particular, a seriously looming deadline for completing the flow of his next major book, to serve us in this way, to serve all souls in this way. Can we not take the time to support this service that he offers as the exemplar of a Total GOLD unconditional universal servant?

If you don’t understand what I’m trying to convey, Master Sha will post today’s group healing practice on his blog soon: www.zhigangsha.com. Taste the pear to know how sweet it is. Then, do not miss the Tao Song Practice to Serve Humanity teleconferences with Master Sha and his Worldwide Representatives every weekday beginning at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Eastern Time.

Divine Soul Songs (part 3 of ????)

It's never too late to sing Divine Soul Songs - and never too early! I was about to say the same thing about Tao Songs, but I realized that it could be too late soon! Master Sha's 3-dy Tao Enlightenment Retreat, 10-day Tao Retreat and 10-year Tao training are in front of us. If you are really serious about your spiritual and healing journey, you will not want to miss them. You'll understand how valuable it would be to register your loved ones for the Tao Enlghtenment retreat too. It's quite literally the greatest gift you can give them.

Listen to your soul. Listen to your spiritual mothers, fathers and guides. What are they saying to you? I can tell you that this is not a once in a lifetime opportunity. It is a once in LIFETIMES opportunity. Grab the opportunity! Hope to see you at the Tao Retreat. My love to all.

A Call to Soul Healing and Enlightenment

Master Sha is offering a Soul Healing and Enlightenment Retreat in Atlanta from October 23-25. There are really no words to adequately describe the magnitude of what is offered at a Soul Healing and Enlightenment Retreat. Healing, energizing, rejuvenating, purifying, blessing, transforming, harmonizing, unifying and enlightening are words that I would use, but they are not enough. Loving is the single best word that I can find. Love is the force that makes all of the other words possible. For several days, from morning to night, we are in a field of love - divine love, Master Sha's love, the love of many holy beings and the love of and for each and every participant. How can 'miracles' not happen in such a field? Do whatever you must to join us! You will never regret it for the rest of all of your lifetimes.

New paperback edition of "Soul Wisdom"

Because I am one of the editors of this book, I have had the pleasure and the privilege - and the unfair advantage - of reading it many times. Each time I read it, I gain new insights and deeper understanding. Master Sha's teachings in this book are simple and practical, amazingly effective, endlessly deep and profoundly transformative. This book helped my soul to sing. When I heard my soul song for the first time, I was incredibly moved by the joy and the love that it expressed. I knew that I had a happy soul, but this was audible confirmation of that knowing. It confirmed that I could do no better than to align with my soul and its purpose. It strengthened that alignment tremendously - and instantly. I sincerely hope that you read this book many times yourself, to eliminate my "unfair advantage." Every time you do, I know that you will benefit greatly, as I have. This book is a treasure that must reach as many people - and as many souls - as possible. The just-released paperback edition expands and improves on the hardcover original (published in June 2007) in significant ways - but I'll leave the joy of discovering that to you!

A great new spiritual film: Soul Masters

I'd like to digress a little by telling you about a new documentary film entitled "Soul Masters: Dr. Guo and Dr. Sha." Dr. and Master Zhi Chen Guo is Master Sha's most beloved spiritual father. In China, Master Guo is known as "the Master who can cure the incurable."

This heart-touching film gives you a window into the most amazing possibilities for healing and transformation. It is a preview of Heaven on Earth. As a student of Master Sha and Master Guo for more than eight years, I have been privileged to witness the “miracles” that come through their healing channels and healing techniques almost every day. I am really thrilled that many more people can witness these miracles now, which include recovery from pancreatic and other types of cancer, and from chronic pain and immobility due to arthritis and injury.

Even more, this film will tell many, many people that these experiences are available to each of them. I hope you will be one of these people. But don't take my word for it. You can read reviews on Amazon.com. You can also watch a trailer for the film at http://www.soulmastersmovie.com/ and read what Dr. Norman Shealy and Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith said about it. If you don't want to purchase a DVD of the film, you can watch it through online streaming for just a few dollars.

As the police chief who received one of the many remarkable healings in the film said near the end, “This is real.” Heaven on Earth can be real. If we join hearts and souls together, Heaven on Earth will be real.

With love and gratitude,

Allan

How I Began My Spiritual Journey, Part 2

My wife Mimi had had an interest in ancient Chinese energy and spiritual arts such as tai chi and qi gong for a while, but never really took the time to pursue this interest. So the ad she saw in the San Francisco Chronicle for Dr. Sha, a “renowned qi gong master and healer,” piqued her interest. But the real reason we went to see Dr. Sha at the Whole Life Expo was much more dire. Mimi had been in extreme physical suffering for months from trauma she suffered in physical therapy. I can’t describe her condition any better than she did herself in Chapter 12 of Dr. Sha’s book, Power Healing (HarperSanFrancisco, 2002), and maybe I'll share that description with you one day in this blog. For now, I’ll just say that she had been in excruciating pain for months. Numerous visits to all kinds of western medical doctors, including the gamut of specialists, and practitioners of traditional Chinese medicine not only brought no relief whatsoever, she couldn't even get any clear diagnosis. Mimi’s health had already started to deteriorate in mysterious ways a few years prior. This beautiful, vibrant, resilient and optimistic woman seemed to have hope taken away from her, to the point where she entertained serious thoughts of suicide. And that wasn't all . . .

How I Began My Spiritual Journey

I am an enlightened soul.

That is a simple statement. It is a most remarkable statement for me to make. Even more remarkable is the journey that has led me to soul enlightenment. I am honored to share a little of this journey with you.

I met Dr. Sha (as I first knew him; it would some time before I truly understood and acknowledged him as Master Sha) on April 8, 2000. This is a date I will never forget, for it is one of the most important days in my physical life, and it was the most important day in my spiritual life. Dr. Sha was giving a talk at the Whole Life Expo in San Francisco. On my own, I would have never attended this gathering and exhibition of alternative, new age and spiritual practitioners, but my beloved wife Mimi saw a brochure for the Expo that featured Dr. Sha’s talk and she really wanted to go (I'll explain why in my next post). As for me, I was a very “successful” person in the physical and material world, but not a spiritual person at all. Not that I was a bad person, but my occupations and preoccupations where mainly with success in the physical realms. I was always blessed with good health. I hadn’t even seen a doctor for twenty years, so why would I be interested in alternative healers? At age 50, my primary goal was to retire by age 55 so that I could—well, I guess so that I could enjoy retirement—nothing more.

What Is Service?

If I'm going to write a blog about unconditional universal service, I should share what this means to me. Hopefully, this will put us all on the same page - or, at least, you will understand what page I'm on!

Let me start by explaining "service." You all have an idea of what service is. In our world, there are service stations that offer services for your car (at least, they used to!). You have no doubt interacted with Customer Service personnel in many settings. You yourself may work in a customer service department or in a service industry. Many of you do volunteer service. According to the dictionary, the word "service" has its roots in the Latin servum, which means "slave," but of course this is not the meaning we have in mind. We're talking about the more evolved definition of "service," which is to "help or benefit" and to "contribute to the welfare of others."

Master Sha has recently flowed a major new book (to be published in January 2009) in which his teaching is even more simple than before. The most powerful soul secrets, wisdom, knowledge and practices that he reveals are concentrated in his "One-Sentence Secrets." Let me share the "one-sentence definition" of service that I just received:

Service is anything - any activity, behavior or thought - that increases love, forgiveness, peace, healing, blessing, harmony and/or light in oneself, in any other person or in any soul.

I hope this resonates with you - soul, heart, mind and body.
