What Is Karma?
Karma is the soul's record of services. It is carried by one's soul and recorded in the Akashic Records. The universe has perfect memory and "Heaven is most fair." Karma is the expression of this fairness by the universe and the Divine. Karma is a universal law. Karma is cause and effect. Karma is "what goes around comes around." Karma is "you reap what you sow" or "action and harvest" in Chinese. Karma is "for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction." Karma says that we are responsible for our circumstances, whether they are blessings (rewards) or blockages (lessons). To truly understand karma is to transform to be a good servant in every moment and to stop creating bad karma by purifying our actions, behaviors, speech and thoughts. Karma is the manifestation of our oneness. When we hurt others, we hurt ourselves. When we bless others, we are blessed.

Divine Soul Songs (part 2 of ????)
I made my first and previous post about Divine Soul Songs on February 3, 2010, so this is part 2 - of how many, I don't know. I know I'll be returning to this subject again and again, because it's one of my favorites. Master Zhi Gang Sha has received a number of Divine Soul Songs directly from the Divine. More recently, he has also begun to receive divine Tao Songs directly from Tao. The first Divine Soul Song he received (on September 10, 2005), Love, Peace and Harmony, is a beautiful, simple (5 lines), powerful and profound tool for service:
I love my heart and soul
I love all humanity
Join hearts and souls together
Love, peace and harmony
Love, peace and harmony
Even if you don't know the melody, you can simply chant the lyrics.
Ask the song to bless you as you chant or sing - for healing, rejuvenation, balancing emotions, improving your concentration, focus and intelligence, releasing negative mind-sets, attitudes, beliefs, attachments, guilt and doubt, taming an unchecked ego, deepening your faith, trust, love, forgiveness, compassion and gratitude, transforming your relationships and finances - for anything!
Ask your own inner souls to chant or sing with you. Ask the souls of your loved ones to chant or sing with you. Ask all souls to chant or sing with you. The power of Love, Peace and Harmony to heal, bless and transform is unlimited.
Try it! Do it 3-5 minutes per time, 3-5 times a day. There's no time limit. The longer you chant or sing, the better. You can offer great service to all souls in this way. Join me in serving well!

A Simple Man
I have always thought of myself as a fairly simple person. By that I mean also that I have thought of myself as pretty clear-headed, straightforward and undeviating. I always felt that I knew what I liked and what I wanted. I was pretty focused on achieving what I wanted and was not easily distracted. Perhaps this was a corollary of my academic background in mathematics—strong left brain, clear logical thinking, an ability to be “undisturbed” by emotion or feeling. Also, mathematicians prize a quality of thought and of logical deduction, induction and argument called "elegance,” which can be described as simplicity, purity and beauty.
I see now that this has many parallels for the spiritual journey. I also see that I am not as simple as I thought, because I am far from being as simple as I would like to be.
Recently, in the course of editing Master Sha’s next major book, Tao I: The Way of All Life, I had some new insights into the meaning and significance of simplicity. In this sixth book of his Soul Power Series of bestsellers, Master Sha offers many powerful teachings and practices, including his ubiquitous “one-sentence secrets.” It is a rich, powerful, practical and simple book. One of the most important one-sentence secrets in this book is (in Chinese) Da Tao zhi jian, which means “The Big Way is extremely simple.” A closely related one-sentence secret from Master Sha is that “the best teaching is the simplest teaching.”
My “aha!” riff on this is my own one-sentence secret: “The best person is the simplest person.” This is why I realize I am not simple enough; I am not the best I can be.
How simple do I want to be? I want simply to be pure love, like my beloved teacher and spiritual father, Master Sha. I want simply to be unswerving compassion, like my beloved spiritual father, Master Sha. I want simply to be an unconditional Total GOLD universal servant, like my beloved spiritual father, Master Sha. I do not want anything complicated blocking the flow of my pure love, unswerving compassion and unconditional total GOLD universal service. These would only block me from being the best I can be, which is to be a presence of my best self, my creator and my source. Master Sha is my example. He is simply all of these divine qualities and more. He is divine presence. He is a truly divine being.
Is Master Sha any more complicated than this? I don’t think so.
Is the Divine any more complicated then this? I don’t think so either.
What more could I want for myself than to have this unity with the Divine? I want nothing more. It is easy to say, difficult to do. If it were easier, there would be many more Master Sha’s on the planet. It is not simple to be simple. I want nothing more. I will settle for nothing less.
I make this one of my new mantras: “I am a simple person.” Remember Master Sha’s one-sentence secret: what you chant is what you become.
I am a simple person. I am pure love. I am unswerving compassion. I am total GOLD. I am an unconditional universal servant. I am a simple person. I am Master Sha. I am divine. I am a simple person.

A great new spiritual film: Soul Masters
I'd like to digress a little by telling you about a new documentary film entitled "Soul Masters: Dr. Guo and Dr. Sha." Dr. and Master Zhi Chen Guo is Master Sha's most beloved spiritual father. In China, Master Guo is known as "the Master who can cure the incurable."
This heart-touching film gives you a window into the most amazing possibilities for healing and transformation. It is a preview of Heaven on Earth. As a student of Master Sha and Master Guo for more than eight years, I have been privileged to witness the “miracles” that come through their healing channels and healing techniques almost every day. I am really thrilled that many more people can witness these miracles now, which include recovery from pancreatic and other types of cancer, and from chronic pain and immobility due to arthritis and injury.
Even more, this film will tell many, many people that these experiences are available to each of them. I hope you will be one of these people. But don't take my word for it. You can read reviews on Amazon.com. You can also watch a trailer for the film at http://www.soulmastersmovie.com/ and read what Dr. Norman Shealy and Dr. Michael Bernard Beckwith said about it. If you don't want to purchase a DVD of the film, you can watch it through online streaming for just a few dollars.
As the police chief who received one of the many remarkable healings in the film said near the end, “This is real.” Heaven on Earth can be real. If we join hearts and souls together, Heaven on Earth will be real.
With love and gratitude,
Allan

What Is Universal Service?
OK, let's move from service to universal service. What is universal service? It's very simple; in fact, it's exactly what it sounds like. It's service to the universe, which means service to all souls in the universe. This is a simple concept, but it's not a small one! As Master Sha teaches, everyone and everything has a soul. You have a soul. Your heart has a soul. Your right shoulder has a soul. Your energy centers have souls. Every cell in your body has a soul. Every molecule of DNA and RNA has a soul. Every atom, electron, quark and lepton has a soul! Not only that, animals, birds, fish, insects and the simplest bacteria have souls. And let's not stop there. Not only animate, "living" things, but also all inanimate things have souls. Anything you can think of or imagine has a soul! So, there are countless souls. You could even say the number of souls that exist is more than countless! (This actually aligns very well with my academic background in mathematics, where there are many "infinities" in the form of transfinite numbers. Infinity has layers. The number of souls in the universe would probably relate to what the mathematician Georg Cantor called the Absolute Infinite, which he equated to God. One of the aha moments in my spiritual journey is that the Soul World and the Divine are very logical! I'll explore this from time to time in this blog.)
I think you can begin to appreciate how vast the concept of "universal service" is. Is it something that is even possible for you and me as mere human beings to offer? Yes, it's really very simple!
To be continued . . .
