The O in Total GOLD (and Tao Song for Obedience)

Obedience is the O in total GOLD. O is egolessness. O is selflessness. O is surrender to the Divine and Tao. O is 0 (zero), ling, xu, kong - emptiness and nothingness, openness and space without limit. Obedience has layers. Total obedience has layers. For example, one layer is within your shi shen (body soul). We reach another layer when our shi shen melds with our tian ming (Heaven's idea). Total O is total surrender to the Divine. The highest layer of total O is to meld our shi shen with our yuan shen (Tao). In other words, the highest total O is to meld with Tao. Because Tao Song for Obedience comes from Tao, it can bless our total O journey forever. This is a little hint of the power and significance of this miraculous and profound 3-minute song. Hao!

Spiritual testing

I am guided to offer a teaching about spiritual testing.

Have you been seriously tested in the last day or two, the last week or two, the last month or two or (hah!) the last year or two or the last decade or two? If you are one of Master Sha’s Worldwide Representatives, you probably have been. If you are on Master Sha’s business team, you probably have been. If you are a Divine Healer and Teacher, you probably have been. If you are reading this, you probably have been. I definitely have been! Why has testing intensified for many of us? The root reason is our role in Mother Earth’s transition. No role, no testing. A little role, a little testing. A bigger role, bigger testing. Really big roles, huge testing. Be honored to be tested!

I have found that 3 G’s work for passing spiritual testing: Gratitude. Grounding. Great service. To be grateful is to understand that testing is a great gift from the Divine and our spiritual fathers and mothers. Without it, we cannot purify more and more. Without it, we cannot uplift our soul standing more and more. Without it, we cannot become Total GOLD servants. To be grounded is to remember that our foundational energy centers are the foundation of our physical, emotional, mental AND spiritual bodies. To offer great service is to chant, heal, teach, share, and more. To offer great service is to go “into the condition.” One cannot be bothered by testing when one is offering great service.

All of this can be summarized in a fourth G: Total GOLD; for when we are grateful, grounded and offering great service, we are being GOLD to the Divine. We are doing what the Divine wants us to do. We are doing what our own souls want us to do.

Remember, no pain, no gain. No testing, no gain. The biggest tests come before the biggest gain—if we pass those tests! Last Sunday, June 20, I received a huge blessing (gain). The Friday before that, June 18, I was experiencing severe testing (pain). I actually didn’t know whether I passed those tests. What I received Sunday told me that I apparently did pass.

Keep your eyes on the prize. Take the long view. Focus on your soul journey. What are five minutes, five hours, five days, or even five months or five years of testing compared to the rest of your current lifetime and all of your future lifetimes?

Chant. Heal. Teach. Share. Serve.

Pass your spiritual tests as quickly as possible.

Do a good job!

Your testing is but the blink of an eye.

What is waiting for you after your testing is beyond comprehension and imagination.

Hao!

Miraculous and profound

I arrived at the second day of Master Sha's recent Soul Song Soul Dance Healer Certification retreat in Toronto not knowing what the day would bring. I did know it would be wonderful, joyous and amazing. I did know it would open my mind, eyes, heart and spiritual, energy and matter channels more. I did know it would deepen my total GOLD (gratitude, obedience, loyalty and devotion to the Divine), faith, trust and more. I did know it would be miraculous and profound, because every day as Master Sha’s student is. Every day is a birthday. Happy Birthday to us!!!! (If you're not a student, or don't know Master Sha at all, please start with SoulHealingDrSha.com.)

A Divine Message

Healing is purification. Purification is healing. Healing is raising one’s frequency. Raising one’s frequency is healing. Healing is enlightenment. Enlightenment is healing. Healing is service. Service is healing. Healing is becoming total GOLD. Becoming total GOLD is healing. Healing is returning to oneness. Returning to oneness is healing. This oneness is within the small universe and with the big universe. Healing is the Tao of Soul Power. Healing is the Tao of the Soul Light Era. Healing is the Tao of every soul’s journey. Hao!

A Simple Man

I have always thought of myself as a fairly simple person. By that I mean also that I have thought of myself as pretty clear-headed, straightforward and undeviating. I always felt that I knew what I liked and what I wanted. I was pretty focused on achieving what I wanted and was not easily distracted. Perhaps this was a corollary of my academic background in mathematics—strong left brain, clear logical thinking, an ability to be “undisturbed” by emotion or feeling. Also, mathematicians prize a quality of thought and of logical deduction, induction and argument called "elegance,” which can be described as simplicity, purity and beauty.

I see now that this has many parallels for the spiritual journey. I also see that I am not as simple as I thought, because I am far from being as simple as I would like to be.

Recently, in the course of editing Master Sha’s next major book, Tao I: The Way of All Life, I had some new insights into the meaning and significance of simplicity. In this sixth book of his Soul Power Series of bestsellers, Master Sha offers many powerful teachings and practices, including his ubiquitous “one-sentence secrets.” It is a rich, powerful, practical and simple book. One of the most important one-sentence secrets in this book is (in Chinese) Da Tao zhi jian, which means “The Big Way is extremely simple.” A closely related one-sentence secret from Master Sha is that “the best teaching is the simplest teaching.”

My “aha!” riff on this is my own one-sentence secret: “The best person is the simplest person.” This is why I realize I am not simple enough; I am not the best I can be.

How simple do I want to be? I want simply to be pure love, like my beloved teacher and spiritual father, Master Sha. I want simply to be unswerving compassion, like my beloved spiritual father, Master Sha. I want simply to be an unconditional Total GOLD universal servant, like my beloved spiritual father, Master Sha. I do not want anything complicated blocking the flow of my pure love, unswerving compassion and unconditional total GOLD universal service. These would only block me from being the best I can be, which is to be a presence of my best self, my creator and my source. Master Sha is my example. He is simply all of these divine qualities and more. He is divine presence. He is a truly divine being.

Is Master Sha any more complicated than this? I don’t think so.

Is the Divine any more complicated then this? I don’t think so either.

What more could I want for myself than to have this unity with the Divine? I want nothing more. It is easy to say, difficult to do. If it were easier, there would be many more Master Sha’s on the planet. It is not simple to be simple. I want nothing more. I will settle for nothing less.

I make this one of my new mantras: “I am a simple person.” Remember Master Sha’s one-sentence secret: what you chant is what you become.

I am a simple person. I am pure love. I am unswerving compassion. I am total GOLD. I am an unconditional universal servant. I am a simple person. I am Master Sha. I am divine. I am a simple person.

Would You Rather Take a Rocket or Walk?

My very first post on this blog started like this: This blog was supposed to be called "My Spiritual Journey as an Unconditional Universal Servant," but that was too long for this site. It really should be called "My Spiritual Journey to Unconditional Universal Service with Master Zhi Gang Sha," but that's way too long!

You could also call this blog “My Journey to Total GOLD” (gratitude, obedience, loyalty and devotion—to the Divine) or “My Journey to Divine Faithfulness.” In earlier posts, I also shared a little about how I began my spiritual journey—and also my recognition that that beginning on April 8, 2000 was the most important day in my spiritual life. It would be hard to say otherwise because I didn’t have a conscious spiritual life before that day, the day I met my most beloved spiritual father, Dr. and Master Zhi Gang Sha. But actually, it wasn’t even until many years after that greatest of spiritual birthdays (up to that point in my life) that I finally was on a fully conscious spiritual journey.

In the last decade, I’ve often felt like I’ve been plodding along on my spiritual journey, as though I were rising from a long, deep sleep. It’s been a very gradual process of spiritual awakening—and not without pain and other challenges. After all, sleep is usually a warm and comfortable state of blissful un-consciousness. Having bright spiritual light suddenly “invading” that comfort zone created all kinds of responses in my heart and, especially, my mind.

Meanwhile, I saw many others zooming along on their spiritual paths—on a rocket to Heaven. I admired all of them for their commitment and abilities. They were all great, if seemingly unattainable, examples for me and their success was completely deserved. As for me, I felt like I was walking or crawling at best—and sometimes in the wrong direction! Would you rather take a rocket or walk? Let me just say that after nearly ten years, I had an “aha!” moment: I realize that I have been on a rocket!

Surprised? Well, I was! But it’s true! More on this to come …
