What Is Karma?

Karma is the soul's record of services. It is carried by one's soul and recorded in the Akashic Records. The universe has perfect memory and "Heaven is most fair." Karma is the expression of this fairness by the universe and the Divine. Karma is a universal law. Karma is cause and effect. Karma is "what goes around comes around." Karma is "you reap what you sow" or "action and harvest" in Chinese. Karma is "for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction." Karma says that we are responsible for our circumstances, whether they are blessings (rewards) or blockages (lessons). To truly understand karma is to transform to be a good servant in every moment and to stop creating bad karma by purifying our actions, behaviors, speech and thoughts. Karma is the manifestation of our oneness. When we hurt others, we hurt ourselves. When we bless others, we are blessed.

Oh Holy Birthday!

Dear Master Chuck, Amritam and the Beloved Staff of Oceana Light Foundation,

I never truly understood why we sang Happy Birthday to recipients of a Divine Karma Cleanse or other removals of dark souls and curses until I stood before the group yesterday and had my personal karma cleansed. As I said, chills ran up and down my entire body and even afterward I had goosebumps everywhere. I did see many dark souls leave my body and go towards Heaven in a light beam and I couldn't help but feel blessed, not only for myself but for them, that they were released from their hold upon me. It was as though they too were set free. Not only was the karma cleanse for my benefit, but for their benefit as well. As they left my body, I could hear joyous laughter as they rode the light beam towards Heaven, for they were at last released to continue on their own soul journey. When they first left my body, they were very dark but as they were uplifted towards Heaven, their darkness became much lighter. So not only did I have a blessed birthday, so did these dark souls that have been with me for many lifetimes. I came home and asked the Divine to help these dark souls on their own soul journey to enlightenment. I can honestly say, I do love them through the Divine and want with every fiber in my being that they too can find peace at last. As for me, as I continue on with my own aoul journey, I am finally getting what true forgiveness is and how good it feels inside to wish my dark souls well.

I cannot help but feel that the dark souls that refuse to leave are not leaving because they want to stay, but stay in fear of the unknown, and because they stay their own soul journey has stagnated and they do not understand why. As Jesus said upon his cross, "Forgive them for they know not what they do." In my present lifetime, I too have been in a place of wanting revenge until I learned to forgive the person whom I wanted to suffer as he had made me suffer. Revenge is a horrid place to be. It eats away at your heart, and is a sickness that has no cure except forgiveness. Wanting revenge is an entrapment far worse than any prison because there are no cell bars that hold you there. There are no guards to stop you from walking through the door to freedom. You are trapped there out of your own free will. While staying in the "prison of revenge" with no bars to stop you, no guards to prevent you from moving forward, life can become a dark, cold and lonely place with nothing but sadness as your only roommate. The only path to freedom is forgiveness of your trespasser and forgiveness of your own trespass.

So what joy it gives my heart to know my own dark souls have been released from their own "self-made prison". Part of me wishes I could watch as they move forward to a better life, and be a bystander encouraging them on as they progress through their own individual changes. The one way I can be their cheering squad is through my own Soul Songs and what comfort that brings to me. Not only did I pay the "honor fee" for my own soul's well being, but the "honor fee" is paid to help set my dark souls free. The truth is the fee is a minuscule price to pay for release for many souls!

I thank you again and again Master Chuck for this service you bestowed upon me by asking the Divine to come through you to cleanse my Personal Karma! I too hold extreme gratitude to you Amritam for your guidance and teachings and only the Divine and I know how much I love you! The Staff at Oceana Light Foundation too have blessed me in so many, many ways and I cannot express how much all of you mean to me and the love you share with many. Bless all of you!

Love,
Judy Sisk

Nothing is ever lost

Karma says that nothing is ever lost in the universe. No deed is ever lost. No action is ever lost. No behavior is ever lost. No thought is ever lost. Therefore, no energy is ever lost. No warmth is ever lost. No truth is ever lost. No beauty is ever lost. No love is ever lost. No light is ever lost. Always give your love and light. Always be your love and light, with warmth, truth and beauty. You will never be lost.

Born Again?

You’ve probably heard the term “born again” used in certain spiritual and religious circles. My latest “aha!” is that to have your karma cleansed is to be born again. It is a rebirth and a re-creation. All of the “baggage” (bad karma) from all of your lifetimes is removed. It’s like totally cleaning house. Actually, it’s way beyond that.

Literally, history is rewritten. The past is changed and in the process, so are the present and the future – after all, they are one. It’s even better than being re-born or re-created. A new soul starts out with a blank slate. After your karma is cleansed, you still get to keep all the good “stuff” (good karma) from all of your lifetimes. Your Akashic Record book has only beautiful golden light pages.

It’s as though you were always a good servant and never got lost on your spiritual journey in any of your lifetimes. You are ready to be enlightened and much, much more. You are ready to take Master Sha’s proverbial rocket to Heaven, with the tools and blessings that he and the Divine are offering to humanity at this time. How blessed we are!!!!

The Secret of Life (Part 4)

Let me expand on "no coincidence" and our karmic lessons. If we have the understanding that I described in my last post, we have a choice. Are we going to learn our karmic lessons or not? We understand that if we experience some unpleasantness, even some deep, deep suffering in our present life - maybe at this very moment - it is really a consequence of our bad karma, our misguided amd harmful actions in the past and in all our past lives. We are presented with this lesson because karma is a universal law. In creating suffering for others, we really created the suffering for ourselves. And so we have no reason to be upset, angry or even mildly irritated, much less vengeful or harmful back at people (or about circumstances) that are causing us some difficulties - even causing great suffering. These are lessons that were given because we are being given the opportunity to not respond in kind. This opportunity is really simply a reminder that really we - at the root - are the cause of our own difficulties. If we respond in kind, we are only going to continue this vicious cycle of bad karma. We are not truly recognizing the lesson. We are not truly recognizing our own karmic responsibility. In this ignorance or forgetfulness, we are really forgetting our true selves, our real and true relationship with others, which is that it is karmic in nature - not only our relationships with other human beings but other relationships with all other souls.

The Secret of Life (Part 3)

Last post, I shared The Secret of Life! I'd like to share some thoughts on what that means in various aspects of our day-to-day lives. As a very important part of a successful and fulfilling life, we all want inner joy or happiness. The kind of inner joy that I am talking about is lasting. It is not a temporary, sudden kind of happiness, elation or ecstasy - wonderful as those are. Those "sudden highs" - and you have all experienced many examples - are not lasting because they are not in our core. To be lasting, to reach true inner joy is to have this at our core, which means in our hearts and our souls. And how can we attain true inner joy? I believe the secret of attaining authentic, unshakable inner joy is to understand karma and to respond to life with that understanding, day by day, hour by hour, moment by moment.

One thing that karma teaches us is that there is no coincidence. Master Sha has taught and said this many, many times. "No coincidence." Whatever we deal with in our lives, whatever our circumstances, situations - all that we perceive to be successes or failures, things that we enjoy and are satisfied with versus things that disappoint or block us - that really there’s no accident. No coincidence. The universe, Heaven and the Akashic Records have arranged the major circumstances in our lives down to the very people we are close to, down to - well, literally everything; and more specifically, you could say that our karma has arranged all of the important details of our lives. No coincidence. This is a mantra that would be very good to hold constantly in our consiousness!

So, when you understand this, you can open yourself to viewing every circumstance in your life - pleasant or unpleasant, but especially the unpleasant ones - with a new perspective. When you understand this, you won’t take too much personal credit for your pleasant circumstances. You won’t allow your ego to get inflated.

Of course, our own efforts are important, our own intelligence, our own heart - all those things are important. We do have free will. But to have good health, to have loving relationships with a partner, with your parents, with your children, with your colleagues at work ... we would not have the opportunity to have these were it not for our good karma. The flip side is that when you have difficult circumstances, when you have people in your lives where your relationship is difficult, we recognize these as opportunities because these are the lessons that we have to learn because of our bad karma. These are our karmic lessons.

The Secret of Life (Part 2)

Chapter 2 of "The Power of Soul" is about karma. There, Master Sha gives the one-sentence secret: Karma is the root cause of success and failure in every aspect of life. So there you have it - that is the secret of life ... recognizing that everything in our lives of significance is due to karma. Our successes, our happiness, our good relationships, our good health, financial comfort - all successes are due to our good karma. And our difficulties, our blockages in any aspect of life - health, relationships, finances - are due to our bad karma. Our karma, good and bad, is the result of our actions, deeds, behaviors and thoughts. Our good actions, behaviors, deeds and thoughts that offer good service - that is our good karma. Our unpleasant and harmful actions, behaviors, thoughts, deeds and service - anything that hurts, harms or takes advantage of other people or other souls - that is our bad karma.

So now you have the secret of life. But still, you may be wondering ... "What do I do with it?" Stay tuned!

The Secret of Life (Part 1)

It's been way too long since I've posted, but now I'm committed to being a regular blogger. In my next few posts, I'd like to share my insights into the secret of reaching inner joy, happiness and peace, which we all want, right? In fact, you could say that I'd like to talk about the secret of life!

My insights are based on my studies as Master Sha’s student, on my own personal experience from applying those studies and on my entire life's experience. But, you know, Master Sha has already really revealed the secret of life in one sentence, and that sentence is very clear in his book, “The Power of Soul,” the third book in his Soul Power Series. He calls it the flagship or the "mother" book or authoritative book of his entire Soul Power Series. How can it be any less if it reveals the secret of life?

Well, hopefully I've whet your appetite. More soon!
